Data-centre cooling & infrastructure
AI is pushing rack densities past what air can cool. European operators, integrators and public research centres are buying liquid cooling, power and storage, and they expect documented, supported equipment.
What we bring to Europe
Liquid cooling
Coolant distribution units (CDUs), direct-to-chip cold plates, manifolds, immersion systems and leak detection.
Heat rejection
Chillers, dry coolers, heat pumps and heat-reuse systems connected to district heating.
Thermal fluids
Propylene-glycol mixtures such as PG25, dielectric fluids and water treatment.
Power & storage
UPS, battery storage, switchgear and transformers for high-density halls.
Racks & computing
Racks, containment, servers and HPC systems, within export-control rules.
Who buys
- Colocation and hyperscale operators
- Data-centre design-and-build integrators
- Mechanical and HVAC contractors
- Universities, research and public HPC centres
- Enterprise IT and telecom operators
Rules that may apply
- Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230
- Applies from 20 January 2027, replacing the Machinery Directive, for pumps, units and assemblies with moving parts.
- Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU
- Electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility of powered equipment.
- Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU
- For circuits whose maximum allowable pressure exceeds 0.5 bar, depending on volume and fluid.
- RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU
- Restricted hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
- Cyber Resilience Act (EU) 2024/2847
- Connected monitoring and control functions: reporting obligations from 11 September 2026, full requirements from 11 December 2027.
- REACH (EC) 1907/2006 and CLP (EC) 1272/2008
- Thermal fluids and chemicals: registration, safety data sheets and labelling in local languages.
- F-gas Regulation (EU) 2024/573
- Equipment containing fluorinated refrigerants.
- Energy Efficiency Directive (EU) 2023/1791
- Data centres from 500 kW report energy and water performance: a buying argument for efficient cooling.
Preliminary map for orientation, not legal advice. Which rules apply depends on the exact product, its use and your role (manufacturer, importer, distributor). Each case is reviewed.
